Title:
SOUNDPROOF MATERIAL FOR INTERIOR USE IN AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3248990
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To develop the molded soundproof material which satisfies a required soundproof effect in the entire frequency region without increasing the METSUKE (unit) weigh of the soundproof material.
CONSTITUTION: A phenolic resin is mixed with mixed fiber raw materials consisting of flax and jute and is put into a semicured state by heating after fleecing to produce the raw sheet of a pad material. The raw sheet of the pad material is placed on a lower metal mold heated to 200°C and an upper metal mold is lowered to press form the sheet by heating, by which the molding of the pad material is formed. Butyl rubber, blown asphalt, calcium carbonate and talc are kneaded and the mixture composed thereof is extrusion molded to 3mm thickness to form a sound shieldable sheet. This sound shieldable sheet is preheated and is then placed on the cooled lower metal mold; thereafter the sheet is vacuum formed. The molding of the pad material is placed via an adhesive on the vacuum molding of the damping and sound shielding sheet and is press formed by lowering the upper metal mold, by which the soundproof material for interior use in automobiles is obtd.
