Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof wall with a simple and low-cost mechanism that makes rotary motion of a sound insulation board smoother when the wind is strong and closes the sound insulation board when it was opened by the wind.SOLUTION: A soundproof wall comprises: a sound insulation board 13 supported rotatably in a frame body 12 with a rotary shaft 15 for the soundproof board and installed so as to open and close an opening 11 surrounded by the frame body 12; and an auxiliary mechanism 100 for opening/closing the sound insulation board that reduces the rotation moment of the sound insulation board 13, and at the same time providing rotational torque to the sound insulation board 13 in the direction to close the opening 11 when the sound insulation board 13 was opened by the wind force.
