Title:
SOUNDPROOFING STRUCTURE OF PIPING BENT PORTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012229791
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To effectively prevent a flowing water sound in a bent portion of piping such as an elbow, and especially to prevent a low frequency band.

A rubber sheet 2 of weight ≥2 kg/m2, and JIS hardness 60 to 80 (JIS A 6253) are tightly wound on the outer surface of the piping bent portion 1 such as the elbow, and further on the surface, a soundproofing body consisting of a sound absorber and a sound blocking body are attached. Then the flowing water sound is measured, and it is found that the flowing water sound of the low frequency band around 500 Hz is prevented from spreading outside a conduit. The kind of the rubber of the rubber sheet is not especially limited, and any rubber having a certain amount of weight and also having a flexibility enough to be tightly fixed to a pipe may be used. The rubber sheet may be tightly attached to a piping member by using an adhesive, and two or more rubber sheets may also be used.
