Abstract:
To detect an attack IP packet performing an overload attack to a specific server under the pretext of a transmission origin IP address, and to execute the abandonment of the attack IP packet or the designation of the transmission origin.
Already authenticated IP addresses assigned to user terminals 15 and 16 or any IP address other than the addresses of the transmission origins in normal conditions are stored in a router 14, and the transmission origin IP addresses of received packets are monitored by the router 14, and the packets having the illegal transmission origin addresses are abandoned or reported to a maintenance person.
