To provide the method for position control of the rotary part material supported by a permanent magnet.
When a pulsating fluid flows in a pump provided with a magnetically supported rotor, as continuously interfering force acts on the rotor, it is necessary to very quickly adjust the changed axially directional position of the rotor by the position control; whereas disappearance must be small for a control current. According to the method of this invention, a pulse width of a current passing through a coil of the control current is modulated to be controlled, in accordance with a desired value setting a controller arranged at the back of the position sensing analysis, the actual value of the position-sensing analysis is stored in a specified time zone, this storage memory is started by the latest at the pulse tip end of the respective control current, the position sensing analysis is stopped in this time zone.
