To provide soybean curd refuse-fermenting bacteria utilizing soybean curd refuse, a fertilizer obtained therefrom and a method for improving soil using the fertilizer.

There is disclosed soybean curd refuse-fermenting bacteria characteristically obtained by mixing soybean curd refuse with EM bacterial materials, pyroligneous acid and Aspergillus and fermenting them. Further, there is disclosed a soybean curd refuse-fermented fertilizer characteristically obtained by mixing rice bran with the soybean curd refuse-fermenting bacteria. Furthermore, there is disclosed a method for improving soil which includes sprinkling the surface of soil for cultivating with water, superficially sprinkling and fertilizing the soybean curd refuse-fermented fertilizer, covering the surface of soil with a sheet with a small mesh and fermenting it for a fixed period of time.
