Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of achieving the thinning of a system and a spatial floating image display device and reduction of influence due to heat of a light source device or the like.SOLUTION: A spatial floating image display device includes: a light source assembly as a light source device; a liquid crystal panel as an image display element which emits the image light based on light from the light source device; and a retroreflective member which reflects the image light from the image display element and forms a spatial floating image as a real image in the air due to the reflected light. A flexible cable or a substrate connected to the image display element is arranged so as to detour around a light source part to provide a space between itself and a light source part of the light source device, and turn around the back surface side of the light source device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
