Abstract:
To provide a spacer for an air filter which consists of a hot melt adhesive composition and is suitable for a highly pure clean-room or the like, and an air filter using the same.
A spacer for an air filter consists of a hot melt adhesive composition containing 75-150 pts.wt. tackiness-imparting resin and 20-75 pts.wt. wax bared on 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin. In the case of applying the spacer for the air filter to a highly pure clean-room or the like in particular, the hot melt adhesive composition which contains thermoplastic resin, tackiness-giving resin and wax and does not contain a constitutional unit based on an aromatic compound, is used.
