Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of coating of strands by providing a deflection part of a main girder reinforcing outer cable with spacers having cable storage recessed parts with spaces.
SOLUTION: Spacer bodies 2a, 2b, 2c are composed of an elastic body or the like provided with recessed parts shaped along the nearly half sectional form of strands 30, on at least one side of a plate body with such cross section that circular shape or elliptic shape are divided in a plurality of places and with a length equal to or more than the cable length of a deflection part. At the time of disposing an outer cable, a cross beam 24 of a main girder is provided with a cable through hole 25 of a deflection part, and after PE rust-preventive coated strands 30 are inserted through a protective pipe 26 fittingly mounted in the hole 25, the spacer bodies 2a, 2b, 2c are fittingly mounted in the clearances of the respective strands 30, and the strands 30 are strained to lead in prestress to the main girder. Since the strands 30 are mounted being held from the upper and lower sides by the recessed parts and prevented from contact, pressure applied to the curved parts of the strands 30 is not directly transmitted between the strands 30. The crack of strand rust-preventive coating is therefore prevented so as to maintain rust-preventive performance for a long time.
