Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a printer which can flexibly adjust the position of a partition plate for partitioning a roll sheet storage part of the printer without preparing a plurality of types of dummy roll sheets.SOLUTION: A spacer 1 comprises: a first spacer member 11 provided with a first end surface 11a which can be brought into contact with a partition plate 46; a second spacer member 12 provided with a second end surface 12a facing the opposite side of the first end surface 11a; and a support mechanism 13 which supports the first spacer member 11 movably in an axial line L direction with respect to the second spacer member 12. The first spacer member 11 is provided with a dimension indication 18 indicating a width dimension W of the spacer 1. The second spacer member 12 is provided with a viewing window 23. When the first spacer member 11 is moved in the axial line L direction with respect to the second spacer member 12, the dimension indication 18 corresponding to the width dimension W of the spacer 1 can be visually recognized through the viewing window 23, and the width dimension W of the spacer 1 can be set easily to a desired dimension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
