To provide a spacer with a supporting member capable of securing a specified covering depth while adopting a supporting member easily fitted to rods and the spacer body and the supporting member.

The supporting member and the spacer have a body (1)and the supporting member (2). The body has a receiving groove (4) for the support member in the rod insertion direction on the support face (3) of the rod (T). The receiving groove has hoods 5 and 5. The groove width (W1) is larger than the opening width (W2) in the hood. The support member is integrally provided with a base (6), a rod embracing part (7), and a rod guide part (8). The base has a width (W3) fittable to the groove width and the rod embracing part is constituted of a pair of opposite support pieces (9, 9) adapted to the outer periphery of the rod and bent. Rod guide part is formed by diverting part (10, 10) following the curved end of the support part. The base of the support member is accomodated in the receiving groove of the body.
