To form a spandrel wall panel excellent in impact and fire resistance.
Decorative paper 5 is stuck to a gypsum board 2 having a surface density of 8.6 kg/m2 and the surface of the decorative paper 5 is laminated with a protective layer 6 of hard resin for excellent impact resistance. The protective layer 6 is hard enough to prevent damage to the surface of the protective layer 6. Laminating the gypsum board 2 with the protective layer 6 provides excellent impact and scratch resistance. The use of this enables formation of the spandrel wall panel 1 excellent in impact and fire resistance. The spandrel wall panel 1, when stuck to the underside of a lining 12, forms a wall excellent in impact and fire resistance. When stuck to the underside of the lining 12 instead of a facing 16, the panel forms a partition wall 15 which is smaller in thickness than if the panel is stuck to the surface of the facing 16.
