To provide a spare tire which can prevent inferior manufacturing from occurring and implement reduction in weight and cost.
When an interval between one bead heel and the other bead heel of a spare tire 10 in a free state is defined as A, and rim width of the spare tire 10 is defined as B, a relation between A and B is 1.1<A/B<1.3, and structure of a head core 12 is a mono-strand bead. Accordingly, curvature radius of a side portion of mold constituting a tire side portion is made to be larger to improve flow of rubber in the tire side portion at a time of vulcanization, resulting in largely reducing inferior manufacture. It is not necessary that a side tread gauge should be formed to be thicker, so that an original goal of reduction in weight and cost is archived. Since a bead core 12 is mono- strand type with high rigidity of a wire bundle, adhesion of bead portion 24 and a rim 32 is improved and bead unseating can be secured as before.
