Abstract:

To provide higher heat efficiency, in a spark ignition type direct injection engine.

The spark ignition type direct injection engine includes a fuel temperature detecting means 38 capable of detecting the temperature of fuel in one of a fuel supply part 54 and an injector 18, and a fuel temperature reducing means 56 capable of reducing the temperature of the fuel in one of the fuel supply part 54 and the injector 18. When a specific condition that the fuel temperature Tf detected by the fuel temperature detecting means 38 is higher than the preset reference fuel temperature Tf0 in operation after completing the warm-up of an engine body 1 is established, the temperature of the fuel in the fuel supply part 54 or the injector 18 is decreased by the fuel temperature reducing means 56.
