Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress radio wave noise.SOLUTION: An ignition plug comprises: a cylindrical insulator including a shaft hole extending in a direction of an axis; a cylindrical main fitting; a terminal fitting including a shank that is disposed at a rear end side in the shaft hole, and a terminal part that is exposed from the shaft hole; a center electrode in which at least a part of itself is disposed at a distal end side in the shaft hole; and a connection part that electrically connects the center electrode and the terminal fitting in the shaft hole. A portion of the shank closer to a rear end side than a rear end of the main fitting includes multiple recesses that are recessed toward the radial inside. On a cross section including the axis, the depth of the recess is equal to or more than 50 μm, an angle formed by two inclined planes that face each other with a bottom of the recess interposed therebetween is equal to or less than 150 degrees, and a length of the portion where the multiple recesses are formed in the direction of the axis is equal to or more than 10 mm. In at least one of the recesses, a layer including a ferrite containing at least one of Ni, Zn, Cu, Ba, Ca, Mg, Mn and Y is disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
