Abstract:
To effectively relax an impact load applied to a spat supported at a storage position.SOLUTION: A spat device 10 includes a variable support mechanism 20 which supports a spat 5 serving as an aerodynamic member 3 at a deployment position in front of a wheel and at a storage position P0 separated from the deployment position. Further, the spat device 10 includes an impact relaxation mechanism 50 which allows retreat operation involving the displacement of the spat 5 on the basis of the input of external force to the spat 5. The impact relaxation mechanism 50 allows the retreat operation of the spat 5 supported at the deployment position, and allows the retreat operation of the spat 5 supported at the storage position P0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
