Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a spatial image having more presence.SOLUTION: A spatial image display device 100C corresponds to a spatial image generation area 110a which is a predetermined display area in a display surface of the display device 110, and includes an optical element 130 for forming a virtual image of the display image of the spatial image generation area 110a by reflecting an emission light from the spatial image generation area 110 and makes a virtual image formed by the optical element 130 recognized by an observer 1, and includes a reflection member 140 provided so as to nip the optical element 130 with the spatial image generation area 110a corresponding to the optical element 130. The optical element 130 transmits the emission light from the spatial image generation area 110a, forms a virtual image by reflecting the light reflected by the light by the reflection member 140 in the direction to the observer 1, and thereby the space 110b in which the virtual image is formed by the optical element 130 is illumined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
