Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the spatial optical modulator which is applied to a compensation optical system. CONSTITUTION:This spatial optical modulator has a lambda1 sensing type optical write layer and a lambda2 sensing type optical write layer. In this constitution, signal light is written as a hologram in one optical write layer by the incidence of signal light lambda1 and reference light lambda1 and the complex conjugate signal of the signal light is recorded as a hologram in the other optical write layer by the incidence of read light lambda2. Then the complex conjugate signal is read out with the signal light lambda1, so the phase distortion of the signal light lambda1 can be corrected.
