PURPOSE: To provide the practicable spatial optical wiring device which switches n-to-n connections.
CONSTITUTION: The light beams emitted from first lens arrays 12 are controlled by a first hologram element 13 to the direction where output optical fiber arrays 16 to be connected exist. Further, the direction of the light beams entering from the hologram element 13 are controlled by a second hologram element 14 so as to be aligned to the optical axis direction of second lens arrays 15 coupled to the output optical fiber arrays. The light beams are coupled with high efficiency without depending on the positions of the input optical fibers even if the number of the arrays of the input optical fiber arrays 11 increases. The large-scale n-to-n spatial optical wiring device is thus easily constituted.
