Abstract:
PURPOSE:To direct automatically a camera in the direction of a speaker to an arbitrary speaker by detecting the position of the speaker with a voice input from two microphones in plural microphones. CONSTITUTION:The voice inputted respectively from microphones 1, 2,...n is inputted to a mixer 15, transmitted through a voice transmitting device 16 to an opponent meeting room and inputted to a speaker position detecting part 10. The speaker position detecting part 10 detects in which direction a speaker is, by means of the input from two microphones and position data are sent to a speaking detecting part 14. The speaking detecting part 14 detects whether a speaking or a noise is obtained with the length of the voice signal inputted and when it is the speaking, the position data are sent to a position determining part 11. The position determining part 11 executes the position control of an electric universal bead 12 based on the position data and a camera 13 is directed to the direction of the speaker to state.
