To provide a speaker and a method of manufacturing it.
A damper (38) is attached above tinsel cords (48) and by maximizing the size of the damper, the amplitude of the output sound is heightened and a low frequency components are maximized. Also, by connecting the damper to the upper ends of a voice coil (36) and the frame (20), the lowest resonant frequency (fo) can be decreased to 300 Hz or less with a speaker Φ45 mm or less in diameter. This speaker is used for various electronic devices to make them compact and slim.
