Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a speaker system in which distortion in sound pressure radiated from an edge can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: This system is comprised of a first speaker unit 16 provided with a projecting shape roll edge 9, a second speaker unit 17 provided with a recessed shape roll edge 11, a speaker unit 12 for middle/high frequency tone arranged almost in the center of the speaker units 16, 17, and a cabinet 13 on which the speaker units 16, 17 and the speaker unit 12 for middle/high frequency tone are mounted. By employing such constitution, asymmetric characteristic for air dislocation quantity can be eliminated keeping the synthetic value of air quantity dislocated by the projecting and recessed rolls constant for the upper and lower amplitude of the edge.
