PURPOSE: To control easily the resonance Q of a piezoelectric element and also to fix easily and stably the ceramic piezoelectric element to a frame by fitting the ceramic piezoelectric element to the frame in a floating state by a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape as a suspension.
CONSTITUTION: The ceramic piezoelectric element 1 is stuck to the center of one face of the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 6 and the outer peripheral of the other face of the double coated tape 6 is stuck to a fixed part 7 of a frame 2 being larger in diameter than the piezoelectric element 1. Thus, only the double coated tape 6 exists at a gap between the fixed part 7 of the frame 2 and the piezoelectric element 1. Through the constitution above, since the piezoelectric element 1 is fitted in a floating state in the frame 2, the change in the vibrating mode caused by fixing the piezoelectric element 1 is not caused and the stable mode is attained. Then the assembly is simplified by using the method bonding a diaphragm 5 on it and cost-down is attained. Moreover, since the double coated tape 6 has a very large internal loss, then the resonance Q of the piezoelectric element is controlled.
