In a storage part 2 for an instrument panel 1, a partition plate 5 is formed integrally with a cover body 4 to cover a work hole formed in the deep part of the storage part 2 and a protrusion part 8 is formed on a hammer part 7 formed at the end part of a partition plate 5. When a submerging accident occurs, a hand is inserted in the handle part 6 of the partition plate 5 and the partition plate 5 containing the hammer part 7 is removed and by the protrusion part 8 of the hammer part 7, a window pane is broken and rapid escape to the outside of a vehicle is practicable.
