Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high tension bolt enabling bolt fastening work only from the outside in the case of jointing a beam or the like directly to the outer side face of a closed cross section type column or the like by a bolt and obtaining a correct torque coefficient.
CONSTITUTION: In a high tension bolt, an external thread 32 screwed into the tapped thread 43 of a jointed member 42 is formed at one end, and a nut 40 is screwed with an external thread 32 formed at the other end for fastening. A head member 37 engaged out of rotation with the engaging part 36 of a bolt body 30 is provided between the nut 40 and a jointed member 41, and the back face of the head member 37 is brought into contact with the opposed jointed member 41 for fastening.
