Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented buy formula I (wherein X is a vinyl group substituted by a radioactive or non-radioactive halogen according to Z isomerization in a double bond; Y is OH and, in this case, its bonding ring is an aromatic ring or a ketone functional group and, in this case, Y is bonded to a 4-5C double bond by a conjugated bond.
EXAMPLE: 11β-Chloromethyl 17α-halogenovinyl-estradiol.
USE: Medical photographing of cancer.
PROCESS: Δ' adrenosterone represented by formula II is used as a starting material and, on the way, a halogen deriv. is obtained from a tributyltin intermediate deriv. represented by formula III.
