Abstract:
To provide a method for specifically inhibiting nucleic acid amplification which can be executed simply and at a low cost, and is capable of specifically inhibiting nucleic acid amplification in a target region without preventing nucleic acid amplification in a non-target region.SOLUTION: A method for specifically inhibiting nucleic acid amplification in a target region in template-dependent nucleic acid amplification reaction, where nucleic acid amplification in a plurality of regions progresses in the same reaction system, includes a process of adding single-stranded nucleic acid to be hybridized to the target region to a reaction system, in which the single-stranded nucleic acid is chimera between RNA or RNA and another nucleic acid, and consists of 10 to 200 bases.SELECTED DRAWING: None
