Abstract:
To provide a reagent retaining container that stably stores reagent for a long period of time and has high reagent solubility and mixing property, and to provide a sample detection device including the container.
The reagent retaining containers 32a, 32c have a recess on the inner surface, and reagent is dried and retained at least on the recess. The sample detection device includes: a liquid sending cassette 20 having an inspection unit 24 capable of mounting an inspection device and a minor flow passage 28 extending through the inspection unit for flowing the sample; and the reagent retaining container which is connected to the liquid sending cassette and communicated with the minor flow passage.
