Abstract:
To provide a specimen processor and a specimen processing method for efficiently detecting a state of a specimen at the high accuracy.
A milky fluid/hemolytic specimen detector 10 includes an imaging section 41 (an image detecting means) for detecting image information on the specimen 25a before the specimen 25a is analyzed by an analysis process and a milky fluid/hemolytic specimen detecting section 40 for detecting a milky fluid state or a hemolytic state of the specimen 25a from a specimen color based on the detected image information.
