Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a spectacle frame which does not leave the traces of contact on the nose in spite of wearing spectacles, prevents the disengagement of the temples of the spectacles from the ears in spite of vigorous action and holds the spectacles without damaging the skin.

CONSTITUTION: Extremely soft elastic materials 1, 2 are interposed between the spectacle frame 7 and the nose B at both ends of the nose B to prevent the nose from having the traces of contact. Namely, two pieces of the elastic materials 1, 2 made of soft rubber or synthetic resins, like marshmallow, of a proper size are adhered and fixed to two pieces of projecting parts 7' of the spectacle frame 7. The elastic materials 3, 4 are adhered and fixed near the ears of the temples and are so set as to be held by the ears C, D and the head A so that the elastic bodies stay put without dislodgment in spite of the vigorous action.
