To provide a spectacle frame of a so-called Nylol (R) type which can hold lenses without impairing aesthetic appearance.

This spectacle frame has at least a pair of notched annular frames existing apart a prescribed spacing and wires stretched in the notched parts of the respective frames and is constituted to hold the lenses by thrusting the lenses to the inner side of the frames by the tension of the wires and enclosing the outer peripheral edges of the lenses by the frames and the wires. The frames described above exist within grooves disposed at the outer periphery edges of the lenses.
