Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle frame that can reduce the number of components and manufacturing processes by cutting out main component parts from a tabular material to form the main component parts.SOLUTION: A spectacle frame is configured to use a metal-made plate material for rim members 20 and 30 holding a lens 50. The rim members 20 and 30 are cut out into a zone shape provided with an elongated holding hole, and the cut-out rim members is curved so that a plate surface of a material is shaped into a curved surface. At least one part of an outer periphery of a lens 50 is held by the holding hole. A crest part is formed in the outer periphery of the lens 50 to fit the crest part into the holding hole, or, a groove is formed in the outer periphery of the lens 50 to connect the holding hole and the groove with a connection member.
