Abstract:
To provide a spectacle lens and a spectacle lens design method which are capable of reducing the number of kinds of block rings and suppressing manufacturing costs of the block rings.
The spectacle lens includes an element in which a surface on the object side is a toric surface. On said surface on the object side, the sag amounts are equal at at least three points having an equal distance from the geometrical center of the spectacle lens. Either of the three points is a point on either of two principal meridians of said surface on the object side.
