Abstract:
To prevent damage resulting from a grooving process, in particular, resulting from a short distance from a groove which is liable to be caused on the rear surface of a negative lens.SOLUTION: A disk-shaped rotary processing tool for a spectacle lens grooving machine has a lens rotary shaft 160 and a tool rotary shaft 130 in which a shaft cross-sectional shape of a tip of a disk-like rotary tool used in a grooving machine disposed in a relation in which they have an inclining angle with respect to each other in a plane including both the shafts is that a tool cross-section on a side where the lens rotary shaft 160 and the tool rotary shaft 130 intersect at an inclining angle is a straight line extending to the tool rotary shaft 130, and a tool cross-section on a side where both the shafts are apart from each other is a straight line extending to the lens rotary shaft 160. In addition, a spectacle lens grooving machine equipped with the disk-like rotary processing tool for the spectacle lens grooving machine is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
