Title:
SPECTACLE LENS MACHINING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3730409
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable lens machining causing an extremely small possibility of shaft deviation by nipping and holding a lens to be machined between a first chuck shaft and a second chuck shaft arranged on the same axial and controlling machining based on the results of detection of a rotary angle of the second chuck shaft rotated in a follow-up manner.
SOLUTION: This spectacle lens machining device is provided with a left chuck shaft 302L on which a lens to be machined L is mounted through an suction cup and a right chuck shaft 302R which is arranged coaxially with the left chuck shaft 302L and on which a lens retainer for holding and pressing the lens L is attached to nip and hold the lens L by moving the right chuck shaft 302R relatively in the axial direction relative to the left chuck shaft 302L. At the time of lens machining, the lens L is rotated by a rotary drive force on the left chuck shaft 302L side to grid and machine a peripheral fringe of the lens L by a group of grinding wheels 20. At this time, a rotary angle of the lens L is detected by an encoder 333, machining is controlled in accordance with the detected angle, and the optimum load machining suitable for the lens L is done to improve machining accuracy.
