Title:
SPECTACLE LENS AND METHOD OF PROCESSING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013254161
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a spectacle lens that avoids an axis deviation of a lens in a lens grinding process and prevents a printing mark from being left upon removing a layout mark after the lens grinding process.

A spectacle lens 1 having a functionality coating film 4 provided on a top layer of a lens base material 2 comprises: a protection film 5 that covers a surface of the functionality coating film 4 and is to be removed from the surface of the functionality coating film 4 after a lens grinding process; and a layout mark 6 that is printed on a surface of the protection film 5. Thus, the protection film 6 covering the surface of the functionality coating film 4 allows an axis deviation to be avoided. Further, printing the layout mark 6 on the surface of the protection film 5 allows the layout mark 6 to be removed from the surface of the functionality coating film 4 together with the protection film 5 after the lens grinding process. Therefore, there is no possibility that a printing trace of the layout mark 6 is left on the surface of the functionality coating film 4.
