PURPOSE: To obtain a new monoclonal antibody useful for accurately determining and analyzing IGF-II, having high specificity.
CONSTITUTION: A monoclonal antibody IgG recognizing human insulin-like growth factor II but not human insulin-like growth factor I, such as 2B11, ID5 or ID9. Monoclonal antibody 2B11 is obtained from hybridoma 2B11 (FERM BP-32,741).
