Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a visual confirmation of measured result and prescription data of a lensmeter before lens to be worked is ground, by providing the lensmeter for warning when the result of an optometry is not matched with the prescription data output from an optometer.
SOLUTION: A keyboard 9 is provided at a front lower part of a body 8 of a lensmeter 1. The keyboard 9 has many operation switches 10 used when optical characteristic of a lens are measured, many switches 11 for setting data input modes, and ten keys 12 for inputting numeric values as data. A measured value of the lensmeter 1 is compared with spherical degree and cylindrical degree of already input lens data. When different, a message of the effect is displayed on a monitor TV screen, and an alarm is rung by buzzer. Accordingly, it is not necessary to visually confirm the result of the lensmeter 1 and the prescription data of an optometer. Therefore, a confirmation miss due to a confirming work of the optometrical result may not be caused.
