Title:
SPECTACLES FOR TELEVISION APPRECIATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003084246
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide spectacles which eliminate the need for a person appreciating a television by lying sideways to assume such a posture to adversely affect the body or enables a bed-ridden person, such as a sick person or the aged person, to easily appreciate the television in the bed-ridden state.

A reflecting system is created by attaching a first reflecting mirror to one side of the inside surfaces of a mirror finished surface support consisting of three sides and attaching a second reflecting mirror to one side opposing the above side such that a television screen reflects to the eyes of a lying person through the second reflecting mirror from the first reflecting mirror. This system is integrated with a face wearing device like a frame of spectacles which is worn on the face as if to put on the spectacles so that the person in a lying posture can appreciate the television screen. The system section is so designed that the person wearing the spectacles by myopia or the like can wear the system section on the spectacles. The first reflecting mirror and the second reflecting mirror are adapted to be respectively adjustable in their angles in case of a difficulty in viewing the screen on account of the various heights of the television screen, the distances from the television screen, etc.
