Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spectacle frame which allows for easily removing presbyopia lenses from in front of the eyes when walking, looking far away, or the like by, for example, pivoting the spectacle frame integrally assembled with the lenses up, and smoothly moving the spectacle frame back down when needed.SOLUTION: Spectacles disclosed herein have no frame in a lower section where lenses are not framed. For an upper section of the spectacles, lenses are not fitted in a spectacle frame but are supported by spectacle hinges that are attached to the spectacle frame and the lenses. The spectacle frame and the lenses are separated by a gap so as not to obstruct upward pivoting movement of the lenses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
