PURPOSE: To improve the resolution of a spectroscope by comprising an exit guide dispersing unit assembly between an outgoing aperture and a corresponding detecting structure in a housing, and selecting a part of the wavelength of the radiation guided to the corresponding detecting structure by diffraction grating.
CONSTITUTION: An exit guide dispersing unit assembly 30 is arranged between an outgoing radiation slit 20 and a photomultiplier 22, and includes a bracket part 32. An aperture 36 having a curved surface 38, is formed at the back of a slot 34 of a front face wall, the radius of the surface 38 is set so that the beam 17 incoming to a holographic reflection grating 40 is focused on a sensor area 26 of the photomultiplier 22, and the grating 40 is attached. The position of the area 26 is moved by the rotation of an adjusting screw 84, and the detection wavelength can be selected. The radiating beam from the diffraction grating 12 enters the grating 40 through the slit 20, and is resolved into the spectrum. The component of the spectrum represented by a line 92, enters the area 26 through the apertures 62, 72, 74, 64, and the light of the specific desired wavelength diffracted by the grating 40, can be inputted to the photomultiplier 22.
