PURPOSE: To improve the work efficiency of marking processing by providing a speech processing system automatically performing marking processing of speech data.

CONSTITUTION: In this speech processing system performing marking processing of speech data in which speech information is processed by replacing it with an electrical signal, it is provided with a speech recognizing section 12 for judging existence of speech in an inputted signal, and a marking processing section 13 for adding a speech mark meaning that a part where it is judged that the speech exists in a signal by the speech recognizing section 12 is speech data. Thereby, the marking processing of speech data can be automatically performed.
