Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inhibit a speed change of maximizing a feeling of physical disorder given to a driver by limiting switching of speed change control according to a rise of temperature by car speed.
CONSTITUTION: A power train is constituted of an engine 1, torque converter 3 and an automatic transmission 2, and a controller 9 is provided for speed change control by the automatic transmission 2. In the controller 9, a throttle opening signal TH, car speed signal V and a transmission operating oil temperature signal C are input from sensors 10 to 12, to perform speed change control in which switching to a high temperature speed change pattern is inhibited in the case that the car speed signal V is a lower limit car speed FLSFTV=45 km/h or less of 4th-speed time always oil temperature decision permission in the 4-stage automatic transmission, in the case that the transmission operating oil temperature signal C satisfies a condition of switching to the high temperature speed change pattern.
