Title:
SPEED CHANGE CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYDRAULIC CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2709239
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the loss of power transmission at the time of backward traveling rotation by a direct connecting clutch for improving the transmission efficiency at the time of forward traveling rotation at a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: Angle of inclination of a cam plate 19 for motor is controlled by a governor hydraulic actuator Al, which operates to the vertical standing side in response to a rise of the engine speed, and the inclined angular moment of a plunger 18 for motor. A governor valve G, in which the operating oil pressure rises in response to a rise of the rotating speed of the hydraulic motor side to operate a direct connecting hydraulic clutch C2, is provided. An angle θr of turn from a neutral position to the backward traveling position of an oil pressure distribution ring 29 is set larger than the angle θf of turn from the neutral position to the forward traveling position to enlarge the inclined angular moment under the backward traveling condition larger than that of the forward traveling condition. Even in the case of the maximum of the engine speed, the rotating number of motor never becomes large enough to operate the direct connecting clutch C2.
