Abstract:
To prevent the hunting phenomenon of an automatic transmission.
A speed-change control method contains a step for detecting car speed, throttle opening, variable speed stage and shift position (S402), a step for carrying out the sixth-speed inhibiting control when the sixth-speed inhibiting control is not carried out (NO in S404) and when a real speed stage is not sixth-speed (NO in S406) but in an area wherein the sixth-speed is used on a diagram (YES in S410) (S414), and a step for releasing the sixth-speed inhibiting control when the sixth-speed inhibiting control is carried out (YES in S404) but not in an area wherein the sixth-speed is used on the speed-change diagram (NO in S408) (S420).
