Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control method for an automatic transmission which includes: facilitating speed change control; improving fuel consumption, a power performance, and shift quality; and contribution to weight saving, when six-speed transmission is realized by making use of an existing five-speed automatic transmission.
SOLUTION: A main speed change portion outputs speed changes with a first speed change ratio on a forward first speed, a second speed change ratio on a forward second speed, a one-to-one speed change ratio on forward third and fifth speeds, and a third speed change ratio on forward fourth speed and sixth speeds. A secondary speed change portion controls the speed changes to output to a speed reduction ratio provided with the forward first speed, second speed, third speed, and fourth speed, and the one-to-one speed change ratio on the forward fifth and sixth speeds, so that an up and down speed change and multiple skip speed changes are carried out in sequence.
