Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control method and its system for an automatic transmission using engine torque improving speed change feeling by stably controlling the engine torque, increasing flexibility in speed change control and eliminating speed change shock.
SOLUTION: The speed change control method and system are characterized by that it is judged whether or not a vehicle satisfies idling conditions of a stopped state, it is judged whether or not a transmission range change-over by a shift lever is detected, and when vehicle satisfies the idling conditions of the stopped state and the transmission range change-over by the shift lever is detected, a throttle valve opening ratio and an engine speed are detected, an engine torque control value is calculated from a map table set in regard to the transmission range change-over by the shift lever, a fuel quantity and fuel injection timing are adjusted, and the engine torque is controlled to the calculated control value.
