Abstract:
A transmission control device capable of suppressing a reduction in drivability when a vehicle speed maintenance function is in operation. This transmission control device, which controls a transmission (4) provided in a vehicle having a vehicle speed maintenance function that performs a control to maintain the vehicle speed, is equipped with: a first accelerator position calculation unit (20) that calculates a first accelerator position in accordance with the vehicle speed and the target output for the engine (2); a second accelerator position calculation unit (21) that calculates a second accelerator positon, wherein the first accelerator position has been smoothed; and a transmission control unit (22) that, under a condition wherein the vehicle speed maintenance function is in operation, controls the gear ratio of the transmission (4) on the basis of the vehicle speed and the second accelerator positon.
