Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make stepless speed change reasonably over the whole speed change ranges by allowing movement of the input shaft in its axial direction to change the amount of eccentricity of an eccentric response member, by permitting its eccentrical rotation to generate a speed reduced rotation of the output shaft through a link mechanism, and thereby lessening frictional portion. CONSTITUTION:When input shaft 16 is rotated, an eccentric response member 27 will rotate together, and a pin 12 moves along an axially oriented groove 13 with progress of rotational operation of a speed change control ring 9, and consequently a slide contact ring 10 and above-mentioned input shaft 16 will move in the axial direction to be followed by a radial shift through the action of a tapered square shaft part 20, and eccentric rotation now begins according to the current amount of eccentricity E from the axis of rotation C. Accordingly a pivot shaft 40 begins oscillative swing around the swinging center line at the foremost part in detention with a groove 43 formed in a swinging member 41. At this time, if the pivot shaft 40 swings in the direction as apart from said axis of rotation C, an inching member 42 works as stopper with the aid of a repulsive spring 46, and a torque transmission shaft 33 moves counterclockwise upon recept of a motive force to circumferential motion, and now the output shaft 24 rotates counterclockwise.
