Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change operation device used together with a remote gear indicator.
SOLUTION: This speed change operation device is connected to a front or a rear delaylleur through a shift cable 20a and is connected to a gear indicator through an indicator cable 22a, and has an installation part 24, an operation part 25 and a winding member 26. The installation part 24 is mounted on the handle bar 13 of a bicycle 10. The operation part 25 is connected to the installation part 24 to move between a plurality of speed change positions. The winding member 26 is connected to the operation part 25 to move in accordance with the movement of the operation part 25. The winding member 26 has an outer periphery winding surface 35, a shift cable mounting part 36 and an indicator cable mounting part 37. The shift cable mounting part 36 and the indicator cable mounting part 37 outwardly extend the cables 20a, 22a from the winding member 26 and is placed at a position to be wound on the outer periophery winding surface 35.
